If You Don’t See Your Nominations Posted:

Hey guys, the validating has been done, and the nominations are up/are going to be up.

However, you might notice some of the stories that you nominated not nominated.

This is for a few reasons:

a)      The story that you nominated was published after January 5, 2010. As previous rules state, we accept absolutely no stories under any circumstances after January 5^th.

b)      The story that you nominated was not found in the ‘Pure Horace Mantis’ community. These awards are called the HMAs for a reason, guys.

c)       The story that you nominated was plagiarized. (Thankfully, in this round, none of that held true).

d)      The story that you nominated was your own story. In a previous note, we said that those who nominated their own story would be immediately disqualified from any involvement with these awards.  This time, and this time only, even though we have removed said stories nominated, those who nominated will be able to vote. In future awards, please DON’T TRY IT AGAIN.

Hey everyone,

Lori (ride2night) helped us tremendously by compiling a list of all of your nominations (that’s right –NOMINATIONS ARE CLOSED), so we could post them.

However, just to double check, we’re in the process of going through all of the nominated stories, to validate them.

By Saturday, all of the nominations will be posted.

As of now, the voting will begin Friday, March 5^th. The process has changed a little, but it will be just as easy.

To speed things up, four categories will be posted a week for you to vote on. Instead of a poll, you will e-mail your votes to Loved-Invention on FF.net (the link is below). You can only vote ONE TIME per category, and you are absolutely NOT ALLOWED TO VOTE FOR YOURSELF. E-mailing it to Loved-Invention instead of a poll will help us to make sure that there is no cheating.

All of the winners (1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd place) will be posted, along with the awards, at once.
